Terms & Conditions:

It is the responsibility of the customer to read through the General Conditions before placing orders. Once an order has been placed, this means that the customer has accepted these conditions.

General Enquiries:
Please allow 24-48 hours for our support team to respond to queries. Please note that opperating hours are 8am-6pm, Monday to Fridays.

How to order and pay.

On the site: Use our online store for the fastest, most secure way of ordering Official Sport Merchandise

Bank Transfer : You can pay for your order to the GM Sports Bank account from anywhere in the world. Once you place your order, we will send you an official invoice. Once you've transferred the total invoice amount into the GM Sports account, we will then ship your order to you. We however do not accept any cheques under any circumstances. Bank Transfer and commission fees belong to the buyer.

Internet bank Transfer : We accept payments via the internet ( bank to bank ). Once you place your order, we will send you an official invoice. Once you've transferred the total invoice amount into the GM Sports account, we will then ship your order to you.

 

Credit Card: We currently only accept VISA and Mastercards only.

 

1. You select items to buy on gmsports.co.za, and click Checkout when you are ready to pay.

2. You select PayFast (or Credit Card) as your payment option and are redirected to PayFasts 3D secure page.

3. You either register or login on PayFast and select Credit Card as your payment option.

4. You enter your credit card details, or select a pre-registered credit card to use.

5. PayFast securely completes the transaction and then returns you to gmsports.co.za

6. You will receive confirmation of the transaction by email.


3D Secure is a technical standard created by Visa and MasterCard to further secure CNP (Cardholder Not Present) transactions over the Internet.
 

Mastercard brands their system as 'MasterCard SecureCode' and Visa call theirs 'Verified by Visa'.
 

3D Secure protects your credit card against unauthorised use when you shop online. This simple service enables you to validate transactions you make over the internet by supplying a personal code. It also helps protect your account from fraudulent use by an unauthorised individual.

All payments made off the website should be accompanied by a reference number which we will provide. This way we are able to trace the source of each payment. Please use your reference number when paying. If you are not provided with an reference number, simply email us and we will provide you with one.

FREE EXCHANGE policy:

We guarantee 100% customer satisfaction. Our 14 day return policy makes your life easier! If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return the merchandise for a prompt refund or exchange; only exceptions are special order items and undergarments.  Please be sure they are in resalable condition meaning the tags are still attached or all packaging is present with the return. Guarantee and returns
If you are unhappy with the goods you have received due to damaged material or factory faults you can return them to us for a replacement or a full refund of the purchase price less merchant commissions of 6%. Products must be returned to us within 14 days of receipt and at the customers expense. Refunds for the purchase price (which does not include postage) will be issued for products returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Please note that the returned goods are your responsibility until they reach us. We cannot be held responsible for any goods lost in transit to us. All our products are Official Products straight from the licensed manufacturers and will not accept returns regarding this matter. If we are unable to supply an item and payment has already been made, you will have two options: 1) We will issue you a full refund of the purchase price less 6% merchant commissions, or 2) You can choose to wait until the item is instock again. Pictures on the site may at times vary in detail and colour to the actual product. Custom Kits: all our custom kits are manufactured with the highest of quality. Sizes and colours may vary so it is the responsibility of the customer to purchase a sample before ordering a set of kits. The reason for this is because there are thousands of various shades of blues and greens etc, so what you see on screen will be as close as possible to the actual colour of the kits. Once the kits have been personalised by names or numbers it will not be returnable as we may not be able to resell your custom kits. It is the customers responsibility to read through the conditions on our website before purchasing. GM Sports will pay the postage price for any goods that need to be resent in an exchange situation where a fault was made on our side.

Damages
Any damaged goods should be returned to us for replacement. Incorrect/faulty goods must be returned to us before replacements are sent out. In this situation GM Sports will accept all postage charges.

Processing of orders
All prices include sales taxes (where applicable) unless otherwise stated. GM Sports aims to arrange shipment of all "IN STOCK" items within 48 hours of receiving your order. If your items are not in stock the order will take 8-15 working days for the stock to be shipped from the overseas manufacturers to our distribution. All countries outside of South Africa need to add an additional 3-5 working days. Your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock with our suppliers. Some items may be unavailable and the current stock status is approximate. GM Sports at times may not be able to supply by the estimated dates until our suppliers get the items in stock. If you have opted for our "CUSTOM NAME & NUMBERING" service, please add an aditional 3-5working days to the above.

Delivery

Please see the various Shipping Options that we offer below. We strongly advise that EFT and bank transfer payments be made as soon as possible. Delayed payments may cause a delay in delivery of your order should the item be sold during the "awaiting payment" period.:

Counter to Counter 4-6 Working Days
This is the most cost effective shipping option for those who can wait 4-6 working days for your parcel to arrive. The parcel will be sent to your nearest Post Office according to the address you wish your goods to be sent to. The Post Office will then send you a collection slip which you will need to present over the counter at your local Post Office. You do not need to wait for the Post Office to send you a slip as we will email you the tracking number on the day of dispatch which will save some time.
 
Counter to Counter 2-3 Working Days
This is similar to the above, except this is the speedy option. For those who need your order ugently this should take around 48-72 hrs to be delivered to your nearest Post Office. The parcel will be sent to your nearest Post Office according to the address you wish your goods to be sent to. The Post Office will then send you a collection slip which you will need to present over the counter at your local Post Office. You do not need to wait for the Post Office to send you a slip as we will email you the tracking number on the day of dispatch which will save some time.


Door to Door 2-3 Working Days
This option is our most popular and the most convenient as your parcel will be couriered safely to your door or office. Please could you make sure that you are available between 9am and 5pm at the given address provided on your order. Should you not be there, you will need to inform us of the contact name and number of the person who will be signing on your behalf on the date of your order so we can make a plan with the courier company.

International Orders outside South Africa
For orders with a shipping address outside of Southern Africa please select this option. Your parcel will be air mailed to you which usually takes 8-15 working days.

 Shipping/Postage of "IN STOCK" goods will take place within 48 hours of received payment confirmation. Goods will be posted according to the option you select when placing the order and a tracking number will be provided for the customer on the date of dispatch. 
If your selected items are not "IN STOCK", please allow 8-15 working days. If our suppliers are out of stock, GM Sports will then source your item from another supplier/retailer but the price will remain the same, customers will not be charged extra if this occurs and GM Sports will pay for any additional costs.

Confirmation of payment refers to the amount reflected in the bank account of GM Sports, and not the one you may have with you. Customers must use there invoice number as a reference when paying.

The period stated within which you will receive your order is approximate. Goods will be sent either to your nearest post office or the address given by you in your order, depending on your selection when placing the order. Please note that your goods may be sent to you in instalments. Title to any product ordered will pass to you once GM Sports has received payment in full for that product. Risk in any product ordered will pass upon delivery to you.

Order Cancellations:

Please note that payments on orders booked for EFT/bank transfer need to be paid within 72 hours. If no payment has been made within this period, your order will be cancelled and released back into stock for others to purchase. Should payment be made after the 72 hour period, your order will still be processed but may be delayed due to stock levels.

International Orders:
 
Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; GM Sports advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information. Please note that when shipping products internationally, you should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. For Christmas Deliveries, we recommend that you order by the 20th November for out of stock items or 10 December for instock items. We will endeavour to dispatch all 'in stock' orders within 48 hours, however we cannot guarantee delivery on or before the 24th December as the post may be delayed in your area.

Notes
The store has been designed to only allow items that are in stock to be ordered but not the exact size of the item , to ensure that we have the correct size in stock please do not hesitate to contact us via telephone or email us with this request. We are more than happy to help you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

DELAYED DELIVERIES:
We strongly advise that EFT and bank transfer payments be made as soon as possible. However, if the item is still in stock by the time your payment is received, then it will be dispatched as per usual.
Your order may be delayed if you do not specify the size of your item when ordering.
Your order may be delayed if the item you purchase is out of stock. Customers are advised to call us before placing your order to confirm that we have your size in stock. Should the item ordered be out of stock, we will order it from our suppliers which can take anything between 3-10 working days. Should this be the case, we will notify you of this.
Late payments may delay the delivery of your order. All orders are processed on a first come first serve basis. No orders are processed unless they have been fully paid for.
Should your item/s need to be customized by means of printing, please allow an additional 3-5 working days.
If your order needs artwork done and you are unable to provide us with the artwork, then please allow an additional 4-5 working days for our designers to do the artwork.
Your parcel may be delayed by the courier service or post office. Should this happen, please contact us so we can follow it up from our side.
Your order may be delayed during massive promotions due to high volume orders being processed.
Your order may be delayed during the festive period due to high volume orders being processed.
 
Please note that GM Sports will not be held resposible for any delays should one of the above occur.
 
WASHING OF ALL PRODUCTS
All products must be treated seperately when washing.
DO NOT soak or leave in water. Items must be hand washed in cold water, or dry cleaned. DO NOT wash in any washing machines as this will cause damage to your jerseys. GM Sports recommends jerseys to be Dry Cleaned. Any damage to the jerseys by any customer who do not adhere to the above will not be refunded. GM Sports will not be held responsible unless the above was taken into consideration when washing.
